Very nice selections. I think you all left some good things for after closing, they are pretty easy to do and can be done as time/budget allow.
ReplyDeleteThat's the hope!! :-)
DeleteOur SR was the one who kept pointing out stuff that's too expensive if we got from them & that can be done later... I love our team here!
You made great selections and welcome to the blogging family.
ReplyDeleteYou lucked out with the SR for sure. We had a very similar experience when making selections where he kept very strongly recommending some options because they would cost much more to do later, and very strongly telling us to avoid others that we can make do later by ourselves.. I am not sure how they get paid, but he never tried to oversell. We have many similar selections. We would love to see how your bonus room will look like. That doesn't seem to be a popular option and it is exciting to see it on other houses.
ReplyDeleteOur SR is pretty cool...I gave him a very tough time during the whole selection process...I mean I can't imagine how it would look by seeing it on a piece of paper or a small sample. But we got thru that. I'm still questioning all our selections but I guess I just have to roll with it now.
DeleteBonus room was included, and my husband is very excited about it! :-)He's already planning to get a Foosball Tables...LOL!
Great selections! Love your cabinets!! Can't wait to see it all together :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE your selections. We did the samething in most areas. Held out on the bathrooms and garage door opener. Just because those are things we can do as well :) Plus they were a little more in cost!
ReplyDeleteHi S & P,
ReplyDeleteDid you get the standard fireplace? I asking because I am comparing your fireplace pic with what I see on mine and I got the stone surround - I thought there would be a bench at the bottom and it would be up higher than it is right now and it looks very similar to how yours is.
We did not have any options in fireplace, no stone surround. The one we are gonna have is just the standard, granite surrond with while mantel. And there will be no bench/step. I will send you a picture from the model home here....
DeleteNice selections you made here, love them. Does your floor plan come with a basement?
ReplyDeleteThanks!! We have basement as an option here, and we did not go for it.
