Great post! I haven't come across anything laid out this nicely on the blogs. According to our progress, we are at #12 (plumbing rough it) and are beginning #13 (electrical), which corresponds with the permits I've been watching online. (Building a house is all about the stalking!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting! Looking forward to pictures!

Hey Amy!!
DeleteYou are pretty far along the process... Congratulations on your Avalon. We have Avalon here in our community too, it pretty cool plan.
When we decided to be build, I was searching all over the place for such a list. Did not find anything so detailed. Well now we all have one! :-)Its good to know where we are....
How cool is that!!! Very thorough!!
ReplyDeleteThis is one the reasons I liked our PM so much.... :-)
DeleteCongratulations on your new home!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a great list. I believe this is the first I've heard of a PM actually handing a "guideline" list. Very cool!
Congrats on your news home !
ReplyDeleteThat was very nice of your PM to give you a list! Most PM's don't do that !
Thanks Guys!! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I hope our PM is this meticulous once we start our build.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for this list. We used it in our preconstruction meeting since we were not provided one. As the PM would say, "then this happens," I would check it on your list. right on the money. Some items were not mentioned in specific details like yours shows, or omitted all together, so we are even more glad to have it. Thank you again!
ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome! I was also very happy when he gave us this. But just so you know, I noticed that some things (initially) can happen simultaneously or out of order... for example, our lumber was delivered before they poured the gravel. So, even if they are not in this particular order, as long as they are happening we should be covered. :-)
DeleteNice post! It is always good to come across such list of tasks that will be accomplished in order to complete your desired construction.
